About Us
Meet Jeanne and Hélène Karpov, twin sisters born and raised in Paris.
From an early age, they were immersed in the world of art. Naturally, they found their own path within it — choosing to create beauty around them.
They chose jewelry, and jewelry chose them back.
Hélène spent 15 years at Van Cleef & Arpels, designing exceptional high jewelry pieces for many of the Maison’s renowned collections.
Jeanne practiced her craft across a dozen prestigious jewelry houses on Place Vendôme, working for luxury groups such as LVMH, Richemont, and Kering.
In 2020, they launched their first jewelry line: Précieux Élixirs — a poetic, modern interpretation of fine jewelry.
Today, after nearly 20 years working for some of the most prestigious names in haute joaillerie, they have chosen to pass on their unique expertise.
They now teach the secret art of jewelry gouache — a rare, highly specialized skill used in the creation of fine jewelry designs.
As part of their commitment to preserving and promoting this traditional savoir-faire, they are actively working with the French Ministry of Culture to have the métier of gouacheur joaillier officially recognized as an artistic craft (métier d’art) in France.
Their excellence has also been recognized in the luxury and craftsmanship sectors:
• Winners of the “Talents du Luxe” award (2023) – Centre du Luxe et de la Création
• Finalists in the Prix des Artisanes (2023) – ELLE Magazine & LVMH
Through their courses and workshops, Jeanne and Hélène invite you to step into the world of high jewelry design — and to learn how to render light, brilliance, and emotion through gouache.
“Hélène and Jeanne are like shining stars showing us the way: they just lit up the studio with their creativity. Their gouaches were works of art in their own right that in turn inspired these other works of art, the jewels.”
